The video follows the procedure for a cataract surgery that takes place in Vietnam. This procedure involves removing the cloudy lens of the eye and, typically, replacing it with an artificial lens. Cataracts can cause blurry vision and increase light glare that may make it difficult for patients to carry out their daily activities. Cataract surgery is a very common and generally safe procedure that does not require patients to stay in the hospital after, but delaying surgery/treatment does not harm the affected eye(s).
